Community Access Enhancement Programmes

King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB) is committed to enhancing community access to essential services through targeted training and academic support programmes. These initiatives aim to empower local communities by improving their ability to utilize available resources effectively.

In 2024, KMUTNB’s Institute of Computer and Information Technology (ICIT) organized a workshop on “Creating Educational Media with Canva” for personnel from the Nonthaburi Learning Promotion Office. This training aimed to enhance participants’ skills in graphic design for educational materials, thereby improving the quality of learning resources available to the community.

Additionally, ICIT has been actively promoting its academic services to increase awareness and accessibility among university staff and students. Through digital communication channels and informational campaigns, ICIT ensures that its services are well-publicized and easily accessible, contributing to the university’s goal of becoming a digital university.

  • The Office of Computer Services organized a community and social academic service project in the form of a hands-on training workshop titled “Creating Educational Media with Canva.” The objective of the project was to share best practices in graphic design currently used by the Office in producing various media, and to transfer this knowledge to the community and society. The initiative also aimed to promote lifelong learning, enabling participants to effectively apply the acquired skills in their professional work. Participants in the program included 23 staff members from six district learning promotion offices under the Nonthaburi Provincial Learning Promotion Office.
