KMUTNB ensures that all staff and faculty members receive fair and equitable compensation that meets or exceeds the local living wage standard, aligned with Thailand’s minimum living cost indicators. The university commits to periodic reviews to ensure that compensation supports a decent standard of living for employees and their families. According to the National Statistical Office of Thailand (NSO, 2023), the average monthly household expenditure in Thailand was ฿23,695, reflecting the typical cost of living for a family of about 3.1 members per household. The minimum payment scale of all KMUTNB staffs and faculties are higher than the minimum expense. In which working just 2.4 hr can cover daily expenses based on minimum salary rate of KMUTNB.
