KMUTNB Academic freedom policy

KMUTNB is committed to upholding principles of peace, justice, and strong institutions through academic integrity, transparency, and collaboration. The university has an Academic Freedom Policy that supports the right of faculty and researchers to pursue independent inquiry, select their research areas freely, and share their findings and perspectives publicly without interference.

KMUTNB also engages in policy and lawmakers outreach and education, providing training, workshops, and capacity-building programs on topics such as law, economics, technology, migration, and climate change. These initiatives aim to strengthen evidence-based policymaking and foster understanding between academia and governance sectors.

Through these policies and activities, KMUTNB contributes to national and global efforts under SDG 16, promoting strong, just, and transparent institutions that value knowledge, dialogue, and civic responsibility.
