King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB) is committed to promoting the health and well-being of students, staff, and the surrounding community through a comprehensive smoke-free policy across all campuses. Smoking is prohibited in all indoor and outdoor areas, and the university provides support programs to help individuals quit smoking. Awareness campaigns are regularly conducted to highlight the health risks of tobacco use and encourage healthy lifestyle choices.
By fostering a safe and smoke-free environment, KMUTNB reduces exposure to secondhand smoke and promotes physical and mental well-being. Health promotion is integrated into academic programs, research initiatives, and community outreach, enabling the university to contribute to national and global efforts under SDG 3, and to create a sustainable culture of health and wellness across the university and its surrounding communities.
