KMUTNB is committed to promoting gender equality and ensuring that women have equitable access to education, research, and career opportunities.
To monitor the gender equality, KMUTNB has monitored and tracked the woman’s application rate during admissions in all offer degrees. The acceptance rate and entry rate of female students have been counted and records to find the proportion with male students. The statistic data is used to evaluate if any bias selection happened and for planning the promotion to meet with equality for all genders. Through mentoring, scholarships, leadership development, and professional networking programs, the university empowers women to pursue academic excellence and leadership roles, particularly in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields.
These initiatives aim to eliminate gender barriers, foster inclusive learning environments, and enhance women’s participation in innovation and decision-making—in alignment with Sustainable Development Goal 5 (SDG 5): Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls.
