KMUTNB is committed to ensuring that all workers, whether directly employed or engaged through third-party contractors, are treated fairly and equitably. The University recognizes that outsourcing of services—such as cleaning, security, maintenance, catering, and other operational support—is sometimes necessary, but that the rights and protections of outsourced workers must be equivalent to those of directly employed staff.
All service providers and contractors engaged by KMUTNB are required to comply with Thai labour laws and international labour standards, including regulations on wages, working hours, overtime, leave, occupational health and safety, and protection against discrimination, harassment, and forced labor. Contractors must ensure that outsourced workers receive fair remuneration, benefits, and safe working conditions consistent with University standards for equivalent roles.
KMUTNB will conduct periodic audits and monitoring of contractors and third-party service providers to verify compliance with this policy. Any non-compliance identified will require corrective action, and persistent violations may result in termination of contracts. The Human Resources Department will oversee the implementation of this policy and provide guidance to contractors regarding employment rights, workplace standards, and grievance mechanisms.
