Policy on Identification and Engagement of External Stakeholders

KMUTNB is committed to fostering meaningful partnerships with local communities, government agencies, industry, and other external stakeholders to support sustainable development, research collaboration, and social responsibility initiatives. To achieve this, KMUTNB has established clear policies and procedures for identifying, mapping, and engaging stakeholders external to the university.

The university identifies local stakeholders through a variety of channels, including community organizations, industry partners, alumni networks, and digital platforms such as the KMUTNB Quality Assurance and Public Relations social media channels (Facebook QA.KMUTNB). This process ensures that all relevant parties—whether governmental, non-governmental, or community-based—are recognized and invited to participate in initiatives that align with their expertise, interests, and the university’s strategic goals.

Engagement with stakeholders is structured through formal and informal mechanisms, including advisory committees, workshops, collaborative projects, public consultations, and participatory research programs. All engagement activities follow transparent procedures to ensure accountability, mutual benefit, and long-term relationship building. KMUTNB also monitors and evaluates stakeholder collaboration outcomes, documenting feedback and lessons learned to inform future initiatives. By systematically identifying and engaging external stakeholders, KMUTNB strengthens community partnerships, enhances applied research impact, and contributes to sustainable development within its local and national context.
