King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB) is committed to supporting students from low-income households—particularly those within the bottom 20% of the national income distribution—to successfully complete their studies through academic and learning support initiatives. The university provides accessible free-access, open-to-the-public, learning spaces (study room, co-working space, computer room), group tutoring areas, and peer-assisted study sessions designed to help disadvantaged students strengthen their academic performance and confidence.
KMUTNB also offers academic guidance and mentoring programmes to help students develop effective study strategies, manage workloads, and plan their academic paths. Faculty members and senior student mentors regularly organize workshops on learning techniques, exam preparation, and time management. These initiatives aim to create an inclusive learning environment where students from all economic backgrounds have equal opportunities to succeed academically.
