Elected Representation on the University Governing Body

KMUTNB upholds a strong commitment to participatory governance and inclusivity in university administration. To ensure that the voices of all key university stakeholders are represented, KMUTNB has established a formal structure that includes elected representatives from students (both undergraduate and graduate), faculty members, and non-faculty staff in the university’s highest governing body—the University Council.

The Election Commission of KMUTNB, an independent and transparent body, is responsible for organizing and overseeing the election process in accordance with the university’s statutes. These elections are held regularly and are open to all eligible members of the university community, promoting fairness, accountability, and active civic engagement.

Faculty elections are conducted within each academic division, such as the Faculty of Science, Faculty of Technical Education, and Faculty of Engineering, while staff elections are organized through the university’s Human Resources Department. Student representation is facilitated through the Office of Student Development, which collaborates with the Student Union and Election Commission to ensure broad participation across undergraduate and graduate programs. Through this inclusive governance model, KMUTNB empowers its academic and non-academic communities to take part in shaping university policies, academic development, and strategic planning. The university believes that shared decision-making not only strengthens institutional transparency and good governance but also reinforces its mission to foster a democratic, equitable, and collaborative academic environment in alignment with Thailand’s higher
